My all time favorite book is Wonder by Raquel J. Palacio. I first read this book in 3rd grade and since then I have read it dozens of more times. A quote on the back of the book says “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” this book really adds to the meaning of the book because the book is about a ten year old boy with extreme facial deformity and had gone through over 40 surgeries by just age ten. His name is Augie. Augie had been home schooled forever because of these surgeries but this years things change up. His dad thinks he should go to middle school and Augie is ok with this concept but is still frightened because often kids scream or cry when they see him. But he becomes friends with this boy who gets to know him well and realizes even though he is different on the outside he is an amazing person on the inside. Them two go through many ups and down and make new friends throughout the whole book. The resolution of this book is by far my favorite. The climax is when their school...
I think your description of the book was cool and well thought out. However I have a question. How many books are in the series? Also, how would you rate this book on a scale from 1-10?
