Marley and Me Was My Favorite Book Ever!

Image result for marley and meMy favorite book when I was in second grade was Marley and Me. I'm not sure why it was my favorite, but all I remember was me reading it every night. When I was in 4th grade is when I stopped reading it. Even though I knew this book was for second graders, I would still read it all the time. It always cheered me up because when the parents went through a hard time when they had to put Marley down, they persevered through it all. That taught me how to get through hard times.

Nice job Molly! I really like how you gave me a year when you stopped liking it and gave me important details about how this book made you feel.

The book Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon is a great story that I recommend everyone should read. This story is about a girl named Maddy that is allergic to everything. One day a new boy that’s a huge rebel moves in next door named Olly. Right away Maddy and Olly fall madly in love. This inspires Maddy to do new things that she hasn’t done before such as she takes more risks, goes on adventures, or even goes outside where she can die. Every page of this book has something so exciting that you can’t put it down! As well as that not every page has words like most chapter books, it has cartoon pictures as well that helps the reader understand the book even better. Not only does Everything, Everything come in a book but recently it came out as a fantastic movie directed by Stella Meghie. The film is almost as good as the book. I hope you get a chance to read this marvelous novel. the novel by                        the m...

My all time favorite book is Wonder by Raquel J. Palacio. I first read this book in 3rd grade and since then I have read it dozens of more times. A quote on the back of the book says “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” this book really adds to the meaning of the book because the book is about a ten year old boy with extreme facial deformity and had gone through over 40 surgeries by just age ten. His name is Augie. Augie had been home schooled forever because of these surgeries but this years things change up. His dad thinks he should go to middle school and Augie is ok with this concept but is still frightened because often kids scream or cry when they see him. But he becomes friends with this boy who gets to know him well and realizes even though he is different on the outside he is an amazing person on the inside. Them two go through many ups and down and make new friends throughout the whole book. The resolution of this book is by far my favorite. The climax is when their school...

The Future For Us

It was dark and gloomy, with leftover pieces of buildings flying everywhere. After the attack in Chicago, there’s nothing much that’s standing still. Sure, there are some buildings and streets, however there are only a few people left. As I walk up and down the streets I see all the fun memories in the exciting tall city buildings I have, well I used to have. Finally I came across my old school. I used to love dark and gloomy days like these because we didn’t even have to show up. That had me thinking about the last day I almost went to school. It was a summer day in the city. As usual I was fighting my way out of going with my mom. “BOO DOO DOO” went the tv as a news alert went on. School was canceled which made me almost as happy as an Olympian receiving the gold. Whenever it looked very gloomy and cloudy outside, the government wanted to everyone to stay inside their homes in case a terrorist attack was coming our way. Only very few times has that actually happened. I jumpe...
