Maddie always wanted to join the boys basketball team, but she couldn’t. Swish , that was the sweet sound to Maddie’s ears. Maddie was standing at the freethrow line. It was her freshmen year, she was trying out for the basketball team. Not just any team… The boys team. As the next ball leaves her fingertips, she has a smirk on her face, like Maddie knows it's going to go in. Maddie flicks her wrist for her followthru. She starts racing back and what do you know? Swish , the balls in. The other teammate comes bolting up the court like a cheetah. But no cheetah is too fast for Maddie. She swats the ball out of his hand and sprints to the basketball, but they ketch up, Maddie got held up by a double team. Then, out of nowhere, she bursts through them. It felt like she was running threw a brick wall. “Timeout!” Coach Adams screams. Maddie walks over to get water. When Maddie is on the court, she acts like its a piece of cake. I think your description of the book was cool and well thought out. However I have a question. How many books are in the series? Also, how would you rate this book on a scale from 1-10?
