My Dog Noodles

I I woke up. It was 9:55 am on September 4th. It was my birthday. Outside I heard little birds chirping as loud as a bear. I looked over and saw my phone, picked it up and walked into my bathroom. I put on my brand new t-shirt. It was bright pink and purple with a dog on It because I LOVE dogs. The dog was big, fluffy, so bright and colorful.
"Happy 14th birthday Sarah." My mom said excitedly as she walked into my room.
"Thanks, mom," I said
" I have a surprise for you but dad has it." mom said.
"Where is he." I said
"He will be home soon. Come downstairs and get something to eat." She said.
I finished getting ready and walked downstairs. When I got downstairs I saw a HUGE cake and amazing balloons. It looked amazing. I didn't really know what I was going to get but I really wanted a dog. I'm obsessed with dogs my entire room is full of cute pictures of dogs. When dad got home I heard aloud nose. Bark bark bark.
"Oh my god did you get me a dog!?!?!" I cried
"Yes, we did," Dad says walking inside
The cute little baby dog was so cute and was light brown. It was my favorite type of dog. It ran around jumping and licking me all over.
" can I name him noodles?" I asked
" of course.  Why don't you go take him on a walk." my parents said
I got on his new leash and walked outside. He went crazy. He ran so fast I fell over. When this happened he managed to break off the leash and he ran away. I tried to catch him but he was way too fast. Then I saw a car and I thought It hit him. SMACK! He layed flat on the ground. I thought he was dead
"No" I screamed
I ran home crying. I ran into my room sobbing. Thinking Noodles knows nothing. My mom ran upstairs as fast as she could.
"What is going on Sarah. It's your birthday are you ok?" My mom said
"I'm sorry mom but noodles ran away and got hit by a car he is dead," I said sobbing
Suddenly I heard barking at the front door. I hurried downstairs and there he was. Noodles jumped around and was so happy to see me.
"Happy 14th birthday Sarah !" Mom said.

"Thanks  so much for everything mom," I said excitedly

Everyday I wake up, pitch darkness. It has always been this way ever since I was born. People always tell me about how the sky is so bright and vibrant. A breathtaking mix of blue and white. I could never imagine something like that. These are the types of things I wish I could see. I get told that my little sister Julia is beautiful. Big brown eyes, long eyelashes and curly brown hair. People adore her. She is ten years old. I am 13. From what I have heard, I have straight brown hair and brown eyes. Not the shiny kind that people get lost in, just brown.  I am not gorgeous like my sister, but not quite “ugly” either. I am just average. Whenever I wake up, I can never really tell if I am 100% awake, all that comes to my brain is blackness. I know some things, like when my mom comes in to wake me up in the morning, her knees crack a little when she walks down the hall, and her feet brush the floor when she tries to be quiet.
